Party to Honor Ann Parillo
On November 14th, 2019, about 60 friends gathered at the Singles Outreach community room to honor this great lady, Ann Parillo.
Ann resigned as executive director of S.O.S. on September 30th of this year, a volunteer position held by her for the past five years. Ann worked tirelessly and effortlessly in her position and did a wonderful job in running the day to day operations of the office and staying on top of everything.
​Ann will be leaving big shoes to fill. Ann has been a member of Singles Outreach since 1986, has made many friends within the corporation. Ann not only succeeded in her role as executive director, but has also succeeded in being a great and loving friend to all who know her.

SOS Rollins Pond Camping Report from Ellen

  • Another wonderful camping trip attended by SOS members Pam, Peggy, Alison, Joe, Ron, Ken, Richard, Ellen and joined by friends Lisa and Katherine.  Folks camped from 4 days to 2 weeks along the quiet shores of Rollins Pond.  One morning it was so quiet that Ellen could hear the adult loon "chatting" to its chick.  Ron and Katherine spent time fishing...see his lucky catch!  Swimming, biking, paddling, fishing, potluck dinners, celebrating Ken's birthday, campfires, loon watching, shopping, going to the Wild Center at Tupper Lake and seeing shooting stars kept the campers constantly on the go in this lovely Adirondack setting (see photos below).
