Singles Outreach is a New York State not-for-profit corporation founded in 1983. Our mission is to serve the single community by providing educational and social activities in a supportive environment for personal growth and cultural enrichment.
The purpose of Singles Outreach includes the promotion of a comprehensive program of activities designed to provide adult singles with opportunities to explore new interests, increase social interaction, and develop a network of supportive friendships, as well as education on subjects relevant to single living.
Each month's calendar includes approximately 100 events for singles to share and enjoy each other's company.
Some activities are public events that we attend as a group, while others are unique to Singles Outreach. The events vary from discussions and workshops to dining to sports to outdoor activities, and many more. Anything that can be done as a group, we do it.
Singles Outreach is governed by a Board of Directors which oversees the operation of the organization and sets its goals and policies.
The organization's daily operations are handled solely by volunteers.
There is no paid staff. Activities are led by fellow members.
Annual dues are $30. Although our unique events are open to all singles, paid membership in Singles Outreach entitles you to receive our Newsletter and monthly updates, as well as discounted member prices for the unique events held at our New Karner Road location.
