REPORTS FROM THE FRONTConcert -- If you missed the Deb Fish concert you missed a great event. She brought with her Tony King, guitarist. Tony has played with Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard and many other Performers. He was great on the guitar. If he returns to our stage, be sure to check him out along with Deb Fish who was fabulous, as always.
Dinner -- The Chicken and Biscuit dinner was so good. Everyone who came raved about the dinner with all the side dishes and fantastic dessert table donated by one of our members. REPORTS FROM THE FRONT TED Talk presentation with Debra G. a lively discussion followed after the TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) video with Jane Fonda. Thanks, Debra! Day Trip : We scheduled a cruise and dinner at the Beardslee Castle on August 16th "SHOW YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD AT ALL EVENTS". Look for your card and keep it in your wallet. You will be asked for it at each event. We will continue this throughout the year.
In February the International Center of the Capital Region held a Taste of the World event in our Community Room. The Chefs came from Keobi Restaurant on Lark St. in Albany. They prepared a fabulous meal in front of us, explaining what they did as they prepared the meal. Then the meal was served to everyone in the room with even seconds available. This was a fun event and a good time was had by all.

Every Tuesday Evening Real World Every Tuesday Evening starting at 6:30pm this discussion offers a chance to engage in a wide range of directed conversations. We finish at 8:30pm, and those who wish can adjourn to the nearby Blessing's Tavern for continued conversation . Want to get your feet wet in the SOS experience?
