Hope that you are all enjoying a good week. Maybe there will be a little let up from the snow over the weekend. You will note that there is a cancellation on Feb. 21st. The host had an unexpected conflict. The newsletters went out early this week so you should be receiving yours in the mail in a day or so. You’ll note that on Monday, March 4th we will be having a special Free LIVE music event in the late afternoon. It’s on the first page of the NL. If you are not receiving the monthly NL, and should be as a member, call our 518-452-6883 and we’ll check on it. This weekend is a busy one at Singles Outreach. We are having our BINGO night on Friday of this week. It is always a fun time when we get together. We give out about 18 fun prizes to winners. These prizes are sometimes shared or exchanged between winners. This always creates lots of fun. Our cards self-contained and are easy to use since they require no little pieces to place on them. Join us this week. Of course, coming up is the fourth Sunday of the month, which means that there is a dance at the Polish Community Center. This is a Community Ballroom dance that is open to the public. There are always a number of mixers so everyone gets a chance to dance. A dance lesson is given before the dance so this is your chance to learn a dance and then you will also have a chance to practice it throughout the night. This is a friendly group and the dance floor is the best!
Remember to save the date for Friday, March 15th when we have our next Special Event to celebrate an early St. Patrick’s Day with LIVE music and special Irish Foods. Have a great “rest of the week”. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events.
Remember that if there is a snow storm or bad road conditions, our event may be canceled. If so, we attempt to send out an email to alert you. If you know someone that does not have email, please give them a call. Cheers! Your Weekly Activities Update Editor, Ann
